We were delighted to host the prestigious World Cheese Awards for the second year at BBC Good Food Show Winter 2011.

The World Cheese Awards have run for more than 20 years and is the largest cheese competition in the world. Last years event attracted over 2,500 entries from 34 countries and was judged by over 200 expert buyers from every corner of the globe.

More than 40 tonnes of cheese was judged on Wednesday 23rd November and visitors on the day were able to find out which cheese was declared World Champion when the judges delivered their verdict to the worlds press live from the British Theatre at the end of the day.

From Thursday until Sunday visitors were able to visit this remarkable showcase of the world’s best cheeses as well as get the chance to taste some in our fab line up of cheese tasting classes.
