Have YOU got what it takes?
This is your chance to wow the experts and take part in our very own Invention Test, possibly earning the chance to have your food tasted and critiqued by John Torode and Gregg Wallace themselves!
The Invention Test was a huge hit at MasterChef LIVE at London Olympia, and the judges were wowed by some really outstanding dishes. The best were judged by John Torode and Greg Wallace - and some contestants even had their food tasted by Terry Wogan!
"Brilliant! I definitely recommend it. Anyone who likes a bit of food and a bit of cooking should come and have a go. It’s good fun.”

ITN sent along one of their top reporters to have a go at the Invention Test - click here to see how he got on!
Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to take part!
Ten pre-booked candidates will be given just 30 minutes to prepare a dish, using a selection of set ingredients chosen by our producer panel.
The expertise, innovation and passion of the contestants will be monitored and assessed as they cook, by winners of previous MasterChef Series tasting up to ten of the dishes prepared. Three lucky contestants will then go forward to be judged by the fearsome judging duo* or winners from the TV programme including James Nathan, Thomasina Miers, Mat Follas or Nadia Sawalha.
The judges will then taste these dishes and give their feedback to all three finalists, but only one can be crowned winner! All participants get to take home their limited edition MasterChef apron, not available to buy.
Throughout the entire session, our Celebrity MasterChef host will be keeping proceedings running smoothly, while a film crew follow the action at the cook stations, beaming footage live to screens for the audience to watch.
Bose are supplying a sound system for the Invention Test. The WAVE® music system will be heard during the breaks between sessions. It is a DAB, compact tabletop system that produces lifelike performance that rivals more elaborate equipment.
OR enjoy the show from the audience...
If you'd rather view the action from the safety of the audience then come along and join the audience, seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
INVENTION TEST TIMETABLE:
Chefs will be proudly cooking on state of the art Miele appliances.
