The Invention Test
Put your culinary skills to the ultimate test!. Contestants have just 30 minutes to take the MasterChef challenge and create a dish fit for the MasterChef judges, in front of a live audience. Previous winners from the BBC1 series will mentor you through the challenge, with the top three dishes going forward to the ultimate test - the tastebuds of John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
Audience seats are free of charge, but turn up early to secure your place.
"Brilliant! I definitely recommend it. Anyone who likes a bit of food and a bit of cooking should come and have a go. It’s good fun.”

Where possible the BBC Good Food Shows use humanely reared meats, free-range chickens and eggs and sustainably-sourced fish within the Show Theatres. We also encourage our exhibitors to use the same products when they exhibit. Within our theatres and cookery masterclasses we shop as economically as we can and try and reduce our food waste as much as possible.
