Growing up in India, food was an intrinsic part of family life for Maunika, with secret recipes and traditions passed down from generations. Following on from her internationally loved debut cookbook, Indian Kitchen, Maunika has amassed a global following across her website, Instagram & her bestselling app.

She’s worked on brand partnerships, as a private chef for a list of exclusive clients in the UK & India and is a regular at food events & cookery schools too. Her work has seen her travel to countries including Norway & Israel, as well as continuing to explore her native India. Maunika’s style & recipes are well known for making traditional Indian food accessible and as such she’s a popular contributor to titles including The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and olive magazine. Maunika is also the contributing editor for Vogue India often writing about the London food scene, and her second  book, Thali, will be released in October.
