The NEC has numerous car parks that are more broadly categorised into North, East, South and West with over 20,000 onsite parking spaces. On your arrival at the NEC, traffic officers will direct you to the most convenient parking area for your event, however being such a large site with a number of entrances, it is recommended that you refer to The NEC Site Map before your arrival to avoid adding time to your journey. The NEC is well sign-posted from the M6 (J4), the M42 (J6), the A45, A446 & M1.
Please note car parking charges have increased from October 2018. We strongly advise to book pre-paid parking in advance of the Show (up until the night before the Show opens) to secure the best rates at £12, as on the day parking will be charged at £16.
Disabled parking for any vehicles displaying a blue badge is available and situated close to the halls for easy access. Both standard and disabled pre-paid parking is available.
If you choose to pay on the day, tickets can be purchased from ticket machines during your visit and presented at the exit of the car park when you leave.
Shuttle buses operate between the car parks and the Show.
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted to the Show, with the exception of Guide or Assistance Dogs.
We highly advise you purchase your books onsite at the event to ensure they get signed during the designated book signing times. Times will be available closer to the show and can be found in the showguide.
Yes you can bring your own food and drink to the Show, however there are many restaurants and vendors we would love you to try instead!
