Born and raised in south London, Benjamina Ebuehi first appeared on the seventh series of The Great British Bake Off finishing as a quarter finalist and impressing judges with her modern, creative flavours. Since then, Benjamina has gone on to work as a food stylist and food writer, developing recipes for a range of brands, including Waitrose, Baileys, Billingtons and Heinz. She also writes a regular baking column for The Guardian’s Feast magazine.
Benjamina’s first cookbook, The New Way to Cake was published in 2019 and her second cookbook, A Good Day to Bake was published in 2022. Both cookbooks are filled with simple but flavour forward recipes that both beginner and more experienced bakers will love.
