Craig will be joining us at the BBC Good Food Show Summer on Friday 14 June. See him in an interview on the Let’s Talk Good Food Stage with Barney Desmazery.

In a previous life I was an aircraft weapons engineer in the RAF, I spent 17 years working for a hight street bank, I left banking to buy a 40-acre coniferous forest 12 years ago. I replaced the conifers and replanted the site with 28,000 native broadleaves to restore the woodland would have been historically. I sold the woodland to environmentalists around 8 years ago.

Since I was very young, I have always gathered/foraged wild food in various natural habitats from river, moorland, woodland, hedgerows, and especially the coast which is my passion.

I started my coastal foraging business around 5 years ago and haven’t looked back.

Some highlights of the past year have been national TV appearances with Mary Berry (Love to Cook) December, BBC, Michael Portillo (Great Coastal Rail Journeys) March, BBC, Ainsley Harriot and Grace Dent (Best of Britain by the Sea) May, Channel 4. Along with many articles in the press and magazines.
