BBC Good Food Shows FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions. For questions relating to a specific Show, please refer to the FAQ page for that Show.

What is the Supertheatre? accordian title

The Supertheatre is the main stage where our top chefs and experts cook seasonal dishes in live demonstrations.

Does my ticket include a seat in the Supertheatre? accordian title

‘Super’ tickets include a seat in the Supertheatre. Any-Day tickets (where available) do not include a Supertheare seat. Combined tickets and 2-day tickets (where available) include a seat on both days visiting.

If I am a disabled visitor or need special assistance seating in the Supertheatre where do I do this? accordian title

Please call the Box office and explain you require disabled or special assistance seating and they will be able to ensure this is arranged. The Ticket Factory can be contacted on 0844 338 0338. Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge. Lines are open from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week.

I am registered disabled do I get a concessionary ticket?accordian title

Any visitor who is registered disabled is able to claim a free ticket for a carer to accompany them to the Show. If you call the Box Office, this can also be arranged for you (0844 338 0338). Unfortunately you are unable to do this online.

Can I book more than one Supertheatre seat? accordian title

Prior to the Show you are only able to book one Supertheatre seat, however when arriving at the Show, subject to availability, there may be tickets available at the Box Office.

Are dogs permitted to any of your Shows? accordian title

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted to any of our Shows, with the exception of Guide or Assistance Dogs.

What is the fulfilment fee and when does it apply?accordian title

The fulfilment fee is charged per order, not related to the number of tickets purchased. Fulfilment fees are not applicable to orders of only additional ‘add-ons’, such as theatre sessions added to your booking at a later date.

The Fulfilment Fee contributes to the cost of delivering the tickets, whether it is through the post, electronically or collecting at the venue. The fulfilment fee also contributes to other operational costs and overheads associated with ticket fulfilment e.g. ticket stock administration and inventory control, ticket stock/stationery, collection facilities and postage and/or packaging costs.

Can I bring my own book to get it signed by the chefs?accordian title

We highly advise you purchase your books onsite at the event to ensure they get signed.

Can I bring my own food and drink to a BBC Good Food Show?accordian title

Yes you can bring your own food and drink to the Show, however there are many restaurant and vendors we would love you to try instead!

Is there anywhere to store my shopping bags? accordian title

Most of our Shows have a Cloakroom and some include a Shop & Drop area. Please check specific Show pages for more details.

Can I bring a school group to a BBC Good Food Show?accordian title

We have a dedicated schools day at our BBC Good Food Show Birmingham (Winter). Schools can also visit the BBC Good Food Show Birmingham (Summer) via dedicated Schools tickets to BBC Gardeners’ World Live. To be included in the ballot for schools tickets please send your details to bbcgoodfoodshow@riverstreetevents.co.uk
