Glyn Ingram, Head Deer Keeper, Sky Park Farm

Glyn Ingram is Head Deer Keeper at Sky Park Farm. Highly qualified and experienced in all aspects of deer and wildlife management, Glyn is responsible for the deer husbandry and estate management, working alongside two Rangers. With the infrastructure for the Farm Experience nearing completion, Glyn’s role is to build the Visitor Experience. Glyn’s passion is education – from specifics relating to deer management, to the important health benefits of eating venison, the delivery of venison from farm to fork, to just sharing his love of deer!

From the beginning of his career at Cowdray Park thirty years ago, Glyn has specialised in deer – from park to wild to farmed. Glyn has worked at some of the most prestigious deer farms and parks in the country, including the twenty-five thousand acre Holkham Estate, the National Trust’s Dyrham Park and Warnham Park Estate.

Before joining Sky Park Farm, Glyn was Deer Officer and Training Manager at The British Deer Society, where he was responsible for the planning, administration and delivery of all aspects of deer related training as well as consultancy, advisory and management roles.

Glyn loves to keep fit largely through running in the countryside, and is a keen wildlife photographer.
