Managed by Paul Dovey, the Goodwood farm provides the estate’s venues and events with organic meat, dairy, cheese and ales creating a closed loop food system.

Goodwood’s Home Farm has been owned by The Duke of Richmond’s family for more than three hundred years and is one of the only self-sustaining organic farms in Europe. Paul looks after 800 native breed cows, 500 pigs, and 2,000 sheep, who were all born and raised on the 11,000-acre estate.

During the last 12 months, Paul has implemented a number of new Sustainable Production Practices to increase biodiversity, nurture soil health, improve water management and stockmanship, as well as exploring and trialling exciting new regenerative agriculture methods.
