Here's 5 things we're looking forward to at the Summer Show..

The BBC Good Food Show Summer is only a week away, so we’ve set ourselves the difficult task of picking just FIVE of the many things we’re looking forward to at this year’s show! We can’t wait to welcome you to our tastiest Show yet.

Read on below to discover why you should be excited for the Show!

1. See your all time favourites in the Big Kitchen!

Join us for a theatre experience like no other! Be part of the audience in the Big Kitchen and see your favourite chefs and culinary experts cooking their recipes live on stage. Prepare for lessons and laughs in this immersive foodie experience, and be inspired to create outstanding summer recipes at home. Grab your tickets to see Show favourites including James Martin, Nadiya Hussain, Michel Roux, and Ainsley Harriott! Plus, new for the Summer Show The Hairy Bikers will be joining us this June!**

2. Get hands on in our Summer Workshops!

We’ve created a wonderful timetable of culinary Summer Workshops to get stuck into; think delectable parmesan tastings with Parmigiano Reggiano, or creating refreshing summer cocktails with Ocean Spray. There’ll be plenty for the big kids and little kids alike, with everything from mastering macaron basics and making your own kimchi, to kids cookery workshops, the perfect activity for budding chefs!

You might even catch some familiar faces on the Summer Workshops this year. Learn to fold summer rolls with chef Chris Baber, or join chef Mike Reid as he teaches you how to take your BBQs marinades to the next level.

3. Shop, try and buy

The show will be packed full of hundreds of big brands and artisan producers for you to sample from and buy. Whatever is on your shopping list, they’ll have you covered.

Plus, this year we’ve upped our food and drink alternatives game. For the veggie and vegan tribe, discover Honest Bean Co‘s range of roasted fava bean snacks, or the delicious creative flavours from Freda’s Peanut Butter. If you’re after gluten-free, make sure to check out Munchy Seeds‘ tasty plant powered meal toppers, Hungry Scarecrow‘s ace pizza bases and Made’s Banana Flour Co‘s pancake mix, made from (you guessed it) banana flour! For team alcohol-free, we’ll have plenty of soft drinks, cordials and alcohol alternatives. Make sure you check out Mr Fitzpatricks‘ range of vintage cordials, Athletic Brewing‘s award winning alcohol free beers, and Master of Mixes‘ collection of cocktail mixers.

4. The BBC Good Food Wine Club joins us!

The BBC Good Food Wine Club Tasting Theatre will be joining us for the first time at the Summer Show, and is the place to be this June if you’re into wine! Whether you’re an expert wine enthusiast, or looking to take the first tentative steps into the world of wine, we’ve got something for you. Grant Hedley, Laithwaites Wine’s very own wine enthusiast, will be hosting five sessions a day covering need to know topics like how to taste wine and get the most out of your favourite glass of vino, and the best wines to pair with your summer BBQ. You could also discover English wines or delve into more weird and wonderful grape varieties. The choice is yours…

5. Learn to sow, grow and glow with BBC Gardeners’ World Live!

Your tickets give you access to not one but TWO great shows! Included in your ticket is access to the wonderful BBC Gardeners’ World Live, where you could see your favourite gardeners, including Monty Don, Carol Klein, Adam Frost, Frances Tophill, and Alan Titchmarsh giving out some expert tips and advice.

Be inspired by BBC Good Food’s Sow, Grow, Glow campaign to learn how to sow and grow your own fresh fruit and veg this summer, and enjoy fresh produce that’s sure to make you glow. The BBC Gardeners’ World team will be on hand to offer plenty of guidance to help you on your way to green fingered glory.

With all this and so much in store, the BBC Good Food Show Summer really is the ultimate foodie day out!  Remember, you can save 15%* on tickets when you quote WEB15 at checkout. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
