After discovering the humble fava bean, Co-Founder Adam knew that he had stumbled upon a genuine superfood. Packed with protein, fibre, vitamins, and minerals, fava beans are not only incredibly nutritious but also sustainable to grow. Despite this, they were mostly being exported to the Middle East and beyond, with little recognition in their home country of the UK. Determined to change this, In 2019 Adam teamed up with his sister Zoe to launch The Honest Bean Co. Their mission was simple: to get more people in the UK eating British-grown fava beans.
