The NEC has numerous car parks that are more broadly categorised into North, East, South and West with over 20,000 onsite parking spaces. On your arrival at the NEC, traffic officers will direct you to the most convenient parking area for your event, however being such a large site with a number of entrances, it is recommended that you refer to The NEC Site Map before your arrival to avoid adding time to your journey.  The NEC is well sign-posted from the M6 (J4), the M42 (J6), the A45, A446 & M1.

We strongly advise to book pre-paid parking in advance of the Show (up until the night before the Show opens) to secure the best rates at £8, as on the day parking will be charged at £10. This price has been subsidised by Immediate Media. For more information and to book pre-paid parking click here.  If you choose to pay on the day, tickets can be purchased from ticket machines during your visit and presented at the exit of the car park when you leave.

Disabled parking for any vehicles displaying a blue badge is available and situated close to the halls for easy access. Both standard and disabled pre-paid parking is available.

Shuttle buses operate between the car parks and the Show.

For queries regarding parking or feedback, please contact the NEC here.

Contactless and card payments will be available, but for those who prefer to use cash please make sure to bring all the cash you need on the day.

The newsagent at the NEC will be able to offer cashback in urgent cases, but we highly advise you to bring the money you will need.

BBC Gardeners’ World Live runs alongside the Good Food Show. Ticket includes entry to both shows – that’s two shows for the price of one! There are no barriers between Shows, so you are free to wander between the Shows at your leisure.

Complimentary Showguides will be available on the day at the info points.

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted to the Show, with the exception of Guide or Assistance Dogs.

Yes you can bring your own food and drink to the Show, however there are many fantastic restaurants and vendors we would love you to try instead!

We are delighted to be running an event at the NEC where sustainability is at the heart of everything they do.

As one of the UK’s leading exhibition venues, the NEC want to limit the impact of their presence on the environment. They have developed NEC sustain – an all encompassing sustainability programme that’s constantly growing and adapting to meet the needs of our changing world. Whether they’re looking at energy, waste or food miles, the NEC want to limit the impact of their presence on the environment.
