BBC Good Food Wine Club Tasting Theatre
Join us for a tipple at the BBC Good Food Wine Club Tasting Theatre this June. Grant Hedley, Laithwaites Wine’s very own wine enthusiast, will be hosting five sessions a day covering need to know topics like how to taste wine and get the most out of your favourite glass of vino, to sharing top tips and recommendations for a wine filled summer! There will also be the opportunity to discover weird and wonderful grape varieties that you may not have come across before.

11.30am – 12pm – How to taste wine
A guide to how the pros taste wine, looking at the appearance, nose, palate and quality indicators in a wine. Come and learn some of the tasting language.
12.30pm – 1pm – Weird and Wonderful Grape Varieties
Discover and taste a range of weird and wonderful grape varieties in this tasting with Laithwaites’ Grant Hedley; with the opportunity to experience new wines that you may not have come across before.
2pm – 2.30pm – Discover English Wines
Your host Grant will guide you through this fabulous English wine tasting, where you will be able to taste and discover wines from vineyards across England.
3pm – 3.30pm – Summer Wines for your BBQ
Classic wine matches for your Summer BBQ. Find out what to match with your chicken, beef and all the sides!
