Back by popular demand our Tasting Theatre will give you the opportunity to test your taste-buds, expand your foodie knowledge and enjoy outstanding, delicious products. Hosted by speciality food and drink expert Katy Truss, this is a tasting experience not to be missed.

10am – 10.30am: Mystery Tasting 

In this mystery tasting session, Katy Truss will introduce you to a selection of unique, delicious and interesting products to taste and enjoy. Whether that’s an exciting spice to elevate your cooking, a versatile condiment to take alfresco dining to the next level, an indulgent handmade chocolate or a bake from one of our celebrity chefs; you’re sure to discover something new, irresistible and of course, fabulous! Some sessions will include the chance to meet one of the makers too. 

11am – 11.30am: Oils, Vinegar and Dressings

In this brand new tasting session Katy Truss, artisan and speciality food and drink expert, will introduce you to a range of delicious artisan oils, vinegar and dressings. Whether it’s a single estate olive oil, aged balsamic or the latest dressing for Summer salads; you’ll learn how to taste, the story behind the product and get serving inspiration and recipe ideas. Some sessions will include the chance to meet one of the makers too.

12pm – 12.30pm – Herbs for Cooking and Cocktails with Urban Herbs

In this brand-new tasting session, Katy Truss will introduce you to Andy Perry, herb-growing extraordinaire, from Urban Herbs. Together they will talk you through a selection of unique, unusual, versatile and delicious herbs to use in your cooking and drinks this Summer. You’ll get to taste the herbs and get serving inspiration, recipe ideas and growing tips too.

1.30pm – 2.00pm – Condiments for Summer Dining

Looking for that game-changing condiment to raise the bar at your next barbecue, pizza party or picnic? Katy Truss will share her latest finds with you during this guided tasting; you’ll get to taste a range of condiments; discover the story behind the product, pick up serving inspiration and recipe ideas and you’ll get the chance to meet one of the makers too. It might include ketchup, pickles, sauces, jellies, jams, chutney, mustard and more!

2.30pm – 3.00pm:  Cheese Tasting

Your host Katy Truss, artisan and speciality food expert, will take you through a guided tasting of some of the most interesting and delicious cheeses she can find. You’ll learn how to taste cheese, sample a range of cheese while learning about the different styles and flavour profiles too. You’ll also pick up serve inspiration, recipe ideas and storage tips too. This session is guaranteed to delight and unite cheese lovers.

3.45pm – 4.15pm: Mystery Tasting with A Drop of Alcohol

In this mystery tasting session, Katy Truss will introduce you to a selection of unique, delicious and interesting products to taste and enjoy. Whether that’s an exciting spice to elevate your cooking, a versatile condiment to take alfresco dining to the next level, an indulgent liqueur, a unique gin or a bake from one of our celebrity chefs; you’re sure to discover something new, irresistible and of course, fabulous!
