Mark Lloyd is a leading chef and industry veteran of 20 years.

Renowned for his British wild food knowledge and true farm to fork ethos, Mark honed his skills in top establishments both in the UK and Europe. These skills saw him head up the first River Cottage Canteen.

2020 saw Mark head off to Scandinavia, where he spent part of the summer fishing, foraging and cooking on the fjords of Norway before heading to Sweden, to cook in one of Stockholms most prestigious establishments alongside Sweden’s top female chef at The Fotografiska. In the spring of 2021, Mark became Sous chef for the opening team of Brasserie Astoria, a new venture by 3 Michelin Star holder Bjorn Frantzen.

Formerly Executive Chef of Pomona’s in Notting Hill, adding sustainability and true food ethics to the menu, reducing food miles, food waste and championing British small producers throughout the menu via Food- Chain. Michelin listed for 2018 and 2019.

Mark has a passion for shooting, fishing and foraging, has reared his own livestock, set up chemical free kitchen gardens, poly tunnels and even a heritage orchard.

In 2012, Mark travelled the breadth of the US for Chef Race UK vs US, a show shown on BBC America, now sold to Sky One, Sony Entertainment and BBC.

An experienced presenter, seen at Masterchef Live, Jimmy’s Harvest Festival, BBC Good Food show, Grand Designs live, Weber Grill School, Edible Garden Show, Cake and Bake Show, Foodies Festivals, Ideal Home show and regional country shows.

Mark works closely with Love Food, Hate Waste to promote healthy, cost friendly meals throughout the UK.
